Happy Birthday

Dad,
Happiest of Birthdays! This site has been so much fun to watch grow from when Mom first posted it with fun photos and wonderful wishes for you from friends and family. I hope you know how much you mean to all of us!
Love, Shannon, Bill and Colin

Join the Club!

For those of us who are already members, congratulations on joining the "60 And Over Club"! Your good humor, generosity, and dry wit (when are you going to publish your compilation of "Tippieisms"?) have - and will continue - to serve you well.

For those of use who are Wolverines, we won't hold your love of the Buckeyes against you. I'm honored to be your Bentz Whaley Flessner colleague.

Enjoy your day - best wishes for continued good health and happiness!

Cruisin' along life's highway

Bill,

We are so pleased to have met you and Sheila along our life's highway. The detour to the Audi group has been a great side trip because of great folks like you. May we have many more side trips together whether at the fast tracks or the teen tracks. A glass of wine in between just sweetens the trip.

Perspective

It is said that the average brain weighs about 1.4 kilograms and after the age of 20 you start losing 1 gram of brain mass per year, which includes around 9,000 neurons per day.

Now if this correct, I did the math to determine that you have lived approximately 14,600 days since turning 20, which would leave you with -600 kilograms of brain mass.

The good news is, taking into account at least 5 good years of substance abuse, that you have only killed around 186 million of the 1 billion neurons you have, giving you 99 billion yet to kill.
So at the age of 60 you’re looking pretty good, because according to my calculations you should look like this
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

It is Magic--You're 60?

Remember the magic tricks you picked up in Atlanta? There is no doubt that you've been working that magic to be turning 60 and look the way you do! Congratulations. . .and many more (you've got all the courage you need to grow old--DO IT)!

Best, Bobbie

60?! Did anybody check that math?

There's no way my dad is that old.

'Cause that would mean that I'm about to turn...oh, man. I guess he is gonna be 60! Well, the silver lining is that at his age, my dad is a model of wisdom and maturity; a pillar of the community, as it's plain to see!
